Benchmarks for r7i.large (AWS)

Individual CPU benchmark results for the AWS EC2 instance type r7i.large. The table displays the single-threaded CPU speed as reported by the Passmark benchmark tool, as well as the on-demand, spot pricing, and spot interruption percentage.

See the benchmarks for all EC2 instances.

✅ This instance type is available for self-hosted GitHub Actions runners using RunsOn.

EC2 Instance family: r7i

CPU type: Custom 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Sapphire Rapids).

Specific features: Next-generation memory-optimized instance (8:1 memory to vCPU ratio), up to 15% better price-performance than R6i, uses DDR5 memory, supports Intel Advanced Matrix Extensions (AMX), and allows up to 128 EBS volumes. Bare metal sizes support Intel Data Streaming Accelerator (DSA), In-Memory Analytics Accelerator (IAA), and QuickAssist Technology (QAT).

Date of release: October 16, 2023.
