EC2 Instance family: r5a
CPU Type: AMD EPYC 7000 series processors (up to 2.5 GHz all-core turbo). Specific Features: Memory-optimized instance family (R-series), built on the AWS Nitro System, Enhanced Networking, and provides up to 10% cost savings compared to equivalent R5 instances. Date of Release: November 2018.
