Benchmarks for r5.large (AWS)

Individual CPU benchmark results for the AWS EC2 instance type r5.large. The table displays the single-threaded CPU speed as reported by the Passmark benchmark tool, as well as the on-demand, spot pricing, and spot interruption percentage.

See the benchmarks for all EC2 instances.

✅ This instance type is available for self-hosted GitHub Actions runners using RunsOn.

EC2 Instance family: r5

EC2 R5

CPU type: Intel Xeon Platinum 8000 series processors, featuring a sustained all-core frequency of up to 3.1 GHz. Specific features: A memory-optimized instance family built on the AWS Nitro System. They support AVX-512 instructions, offer high memory-to-vCPU ratios, EBS-optimized burst support, and include a variant (R5d) with local NVMe SSDs. Date of release: July 25, 2018.
